As this is my first post on viktornagy.com I would like to say thank you to all who contributed by presenting the system I’m using. I know that this is a very unwise thing to do, but this is one way to say thanks to all the great developers who contributed code to

• django,
• the byteflow blogging app,
• postgresql,
• apache,
• and in general Linux

So, I use Slicehost as my service provider where I’ve installed Django. Instead of mod_python I use mod wsgi which I find great and extremely simple to set up.

My plans with this website is to share my thought and ideas on economics and programming. I presume that the programming will be mainly related to django, while on the economics side I will keep you up-to-date with my readings on standard setting.

Note: As you might have noticed, I don’t like to repeat other’s tutorials about setting up a system.
